The nearest town to the Event Centre is Newcastle, Co Down. There is plenty of camping, B&B and hotel accomodation in the area. Camping is NOT USUALLY available at the Event Centre. A bus will run from Belfast to Newcastle and on to Tollymore Forest Park for camping if requested on Friday evening and run from Newcastle via Tollymore Forest (if required) and on to the Event Centre on Saturday morning.
The Cnocnafeola Hostel in Atticall (BT34 4HT) is a popular spot for Mourne Mountain Marathoners to stay. They say that if they have enough interest they will put on a minibus to the Event Centre. Contact them via their website www.mournehostel.com or call +4428 417 65859 / 62952 .
